Hokoku-ji Temple is a popular tourist spot representing Kamakura. It was listed as three star spot in Michelin Green Guide Japan. About 2,000 of Moso bamboos has created the beautiful and dignified bamboo grove in the temple. How about a stroll to enjoy the Japanese “quietness” and “coolness” that you never experience before?
You can enjoy an elegant breakfast meal with five-grain rice. Kamakura Farmer’s Market, also known as Lembai, (Agricultural Cooperative Rensou-Shop) is located right next to the restaurant, you can be sure to find local vegetables there.
How about cycling along the seaside with a shared bike? You can find one and return it back to any Hello Cycling location you want.
Kencho-ji Temple is one of Japanese main cultural heritage and its garden is an absolute must-see.
You can experience zazen (traditional practice of seated meditation) and sutras copying. From 4:30 to 5:30p.m. on Fridays and Saturdays. No reservation required.
